I remember setting up this cake and being scared to check my phone in case there was a message of news that I was dreading…just a few days later, my family experienced a heart-breaking loss and for a while, life paused and everything else faded into the background. This elegant design was created for a stunning March wedding, where timeless details, soft textures and understated luxury came together to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter for such a lovely couple Atarah & Roger, who were joy to work with. Their room setup at @stockbrookcountryclub was breath-taking, thanks to @sophiesboutiquebowsstyling Creating wedding cakes has never been about the cake alone for me. It’s about being entrusted with one of life’s most meaningful moments. The past few months have been deeply personal and I took a step back to be with my family and to process a loss that has changed our world forever. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and the quiet support so many of you showed during this time and for the strength God has given me to slowly find my way back. Creating has always been my way of expressing my love and joy, and slowly, I’m returning to what I do best, crafting elegant, meaningful cakes for your most special moments.
