TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read our Terms & Conditions which helps us make sure everything runs smoothly. All orders are subject to the CCTreats terms and conditions set out below.
ORDERING & NOTICE PERIODS
For Wedding Cake bookings, we require 6-12 months’ notice, especially for peak periods. A £150 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking to secure your date, and the remaining balance must be paid in FULL 30 days before the event date.
For Celebration Cakes, we require at least 2 weeks notice and for Postal Treats, we require 1 weeks notice. Your order is only confirmed once we receive your deposit and send you a written confirmation.
DEPOSITS
For Wedding Cake bookings, a £150 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking to secure the date, and the remaining balance must be paid in FULL 4 weeks before the wedding date.For Celebration Cakes, a non-refundable 50% booking fee is due on receipt of your invoice to secure your booking. The final balance is then required 7 days prior to the event date.
PAYMENTS
Please note: Orders WILL be cancelled if payment is not received by the due date.We accept payments via via BACS transfer or via the payment link as per the details provided on your invoice and cake confirmation. All BACS payments must have cleared before we commence any work on your order.
WEDDING CAKE BOOKINGS
After your initial inquiry, we will arrange a Discovery Consultation (in person or online). - You will then receive a Design Proposal, once approved your £150 non-refundable booking fee is required. We will then share your custom sketch and work with you to create your design that is uniquely you. A taster box can be ordered to help choose flavours (fee applies). - Final details and guest numbers should be confirmed no later than 6 weeks before your wedding.
SKETCHES & DESIGN
Custom Cake Sketches are for design guidance only. The final cake may have slight adjustments for structure or artistic improvement. All designs must be approved at least 6 weeks before the event.
TASTER BOXES
Our Taster Boxes are available to purchase at £40/ box of 4 flavours and includes postal delivery. Should you wish to proceed with your Cake booking, the charge in then deducted from your cake total. We also offer Seasonal Taster Boxes include a mix of our popular cake flavours and are ideal for weddings or large events.All Taster boxes are pre-booked, paid upfront, and non-refundable.
MOBILE CAKE BAR (FOR EVENTS)
Outdoor setups are weather permitting. In cases of bad weather, we may require a covered space or an indoor setup alternative. Our mobile CakeBar is available for weddings, parties, and corporate events. Booking includes setup, service, and a custom Cake Sundae menu of your choice from our wide array of options. A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date. Full payment is due 4 weeks prior to the event.
DESSERT TABLES/ INDULUGENCE BARS
Booking includes setup and styling, service, and a custom menu of mini treats, cupcakes, or more from our wide array of options. A minimum spend applies and bookings must be made at least 2 months in advance. A non-refundable deposit secures the date. Full payment is due 4 weeks prior to the event.
POSTAL TREATS
Postal boxes are made fresh and shipped across the UK via RoyalMail. We are not responsible for delays, damage, or loss once the item is in the courier’s hands. All sales are final and non-refundable unless faulty.
CAKE DISPLAY SETUP & STAND HIRE
Stand hire and other display equipment requires a refundable deposit. Items must be returned undamaged within 72 hours of your event date
DELIVERY & COLLECTION
For Wedding Cakes, we will personally deliver and setup your cake on your special day ensuring a quality finish and stunning cake display. For delivery and set up charges within London, a flat fee of £50 is applicable, for charges outside London, please note that this is priced based on the distance from our DA10 address.
For all other cakes, delivery is free within a 2 mile radius of our DA10 postcode; outside of this area a delivery charge is applied on pricing based on the distance from our address. We cover the M25 and Greater London, Kent, Essex, Surrey. We do aim to deliver your cake within good time however sometimes due to circumstances out of our control such as but not limited to: traffic accidents, bad weather, road closures that may occur once in transit.
Cakes may also be delivered a day before the event, please check with us at the time of booking.Cakes can also be collected from our DA10 premises
ALLERGIES & DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs and we therefore cannot guarantee our products as allergen-free. Please discuss your allergen requirements at the time off booking.
FINISHED PRODUCTS
All of our cakes are handmade to order and we create a design specific to your requirements. We do not copy like for like images from other cake makers work therefore, there will be differences between the finished product as discussed at the time of booking
LOSS or DAMAGES
All cakes are boxed appropriately and inspected with you prior to your departure and we advise you on how to handle and store your cake. CCTreats is not liable for any damage to the cake once it has left our premises. We will provide you with a Cake Care card which guide you on how to transport and store your cake
CAKE STORAGE & CARE
Keep cakes cool and dry, do not leave them to sit in direct sunlight. – Refrigerate only if advised. Cake care instructions will be provided.
PHOTOS & PROMOTION
We may share cake images online unless you request otherwise.
CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES
We understand that issues affecting your circumstances may arise, therefore if for any reason you need to cancel your order, please email us at hello@cctreats.co.uk 7 days prior to your cake due date. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your order, a full refund will be given.
REFUNDS
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us directly within 24hours and we will aim to sort out any disputes that may arise with your finished product. We may require photos of your purchased product or may ask you to return the product. We are unable to issue a refund due to the cakes being a food product and will offer you a credit voucher should your complaint be upheld.
